Lake Tekapo, 2 years late.

This really should be a contender for my picture of 2007. Taken during a trip to this place in mid 2007 called lake Tekapo, a 2 and a half hour drive from christchurch... I think. Like I said, its two years ago, memory's fuzzy. Anyway, old picture it may be, its still a beautiful view nonetheless and representative of the lake today. Unless global warming has dried it all up, if so, I haven't heard any news about that. This is a panoramic picture, composed of three pictures stitched together. ENJOY

*Click to really enjoy it's full beauty*

Some info about Lake Tekapo, PLAGARIZED (higher education's term for what we call COPY or CHAO DA AN in secondary school) straight from our friendly information source, Wikipedia:

"Lake Tekapo is the largest of three roughly parallel lakes running north-south along the northern edge of the Mackenzie Basin in the South Island of New Zealand (the others are Lake Pukaki and Lake Ohau). It covers an area of 83 square kilometres (32 sq mi), and is at an altitude of 700 metres (2,300 ft) above sea level."
