about time to write something at least...
Yea.. kinda bored, so decided to post something,
So. kowtow to all juniors. congrats with the third place.. again. Keep up the good work!
Right. So, an update on my happenings. Work. Eat. Computer. Sleep. BORING!
Working at burger kings, and i really am starting to get sick of their food. Not to mention the effects on your overall health.. Think 'Super Size Me'. Money's pretty good though. And the work is good and quite hectic. Especially on Rugby days. The stadium is a stone's throw away from the restaurant. Just down the road. And the rugby crowd would stop by for dinner before the game starts.. I easily made 200 burgers in that hour alone.
Life is quite mundane over here. Not many people, but more and more coming back as uni opening gets nearer. Spent Chinese New Year sleeping. And watching movies and tv series from the computer. Missing home.. and the Ang Pows.
So with life so boring, I got thinking on what i wanna do when I get back. I was thinking maybe you guys wanna stretch you r creativity a little and Record the entire Dui mian de nu hai can guo lai song into a music track. complete with background vocals and music. What say you guys? Ours summer project? I'll try to learn up on some audio editing software and I already have microphones back home. we have plenty of guitars to go around for sure. If we cant get hold of real drums, I have this programmable musical keyboard that connects to the computer. Voila, there you have it! If compiling the song takes less effort than expected, how bout a music video? And if you guys are interested, we can do other songs for fun. Think about it, we could become famous!
Thats bout it. I'm no camwhore, so I have absolutely zero pictures. Nil. Nada. Zilch. never took any since I got here. Bla.. bla.. bla... really bored.. trying to find something to say... Nah.. thats bout it. Cheers!

SMKDU Sports Day Marching Competition '08
SL(Y)180 won 3rd place again this year for the fourth time in a row since 2005.
Guess who won 1st and 2nd place this year....
YOU'VE GUESSED CORRECT!!! It's PKBM in 1st place and Police Cadet in 2nd.

I'm still waiting for my dear juniors to breach into the top 2, but then it got me thinking:
"The judges in our annual marching competition are of officers from PKBM and Police Cadet, or so I'm told..."
If that is true, then there is a high possibility that the judging has and always been biase. Well, we all knew that since a long time ago, I don't even remember when is the last time any other uniform bodies were in the top 2.
Sad isn't it? I was told that even the Scouts and St. Johns did great. For the Scouts, I am not surprise, they have always been superb in their foot drills. And I'm happy to see how far the St. Johns' have progress since the last time I saw them.
But the most creative formation would have to be PBSM's formation (and I'm stating this as an Art&Design student, not as a former member). I'm proud to see them trying out new styles and executing it boldly. I've one advice thought for them though, should any of my juniors read this:
"I don't know if any of you realise this, but we always have one weakness within our marching - IT'S VERY DRAGGY!!! I'd have to wait for a period of time before the next interesting part appears, there's no constant flow of energy."
With all that being said and done, I believe that the true first place starts from 3rd. Let the top 2 battle among themselves. Until the judging becomes fair, the top 2 place seems pointless.

Drama Class
My class was divided into 2 groups, namely E1 and E2 (E1 being the morning class while E2 is the afternoon class). I was in E1.
Since I was pretty much occupied during the E1 session (busy with my own group and all that), I couldn't find time to take pictures of the dramas in E1. I have however all the time I need to take pictures in E2, since I'm not involve in any drama within E2.
Here we go:
Class E1.
Lindsay Longan (Jol Wee) seducing Billy Gates (Ben)
Class E1.
Title: If your most trusted partner betrays you......
With our main characters:
Jon (Jon) and Jane (Wai Kwan)
Class E1.
Title: If..... (I don't remember)
(L to R) First Mate (Ahmed), Captain (Esa) and Voodoo Master (Afeno)
Class E2.
Title: If... (I forgot)
But everyone dies at the end (well.... 2 died, I'm not sure about the other 2)
Class E2.
Title: If......(I don't know exactly, but it got something to do with extreme obsession)
Class E2.
Title: If... ( Hmmmm....) This one is sad, everyone character died at the end (no sequel for sure).
Class E2.
Title: If your day repeats over and over again... (something like that)
(L to R) Main character (Shin Mei), brother of the main character (Nicholas), best friend of main character (Yen Shing).
Class E2.
Title: If... (I forgot... again...) However, this one is interesting, with storyline and visual effects that are stunning. The actor/actresses were great too, especially Priscilla.
That was the 2nd drama assignment, The Magic 'IF'.

Our 3rd drama assignment, here we go:
Class E2.
We start of with the only group that got an 'A'
Hahahahahahaha
Class E2
Father Warren's (Stanley) outfit was amazing
But Father Warren died (MUAHAHAHAHAH)
Killed by Cecilia (Estrella), our main character out of righteous vengeance.
Class E2. We have here the alternate version of Mission Impossible...
This one had a interesting way of presenting its characters.
Class E2. Now this one had a theme of Kings and Mage/Witch, Royalty and Peasants (similar to those in Medieval times), but they did it in a modern context. A modern medieval if you may.
Priscilla played the witch/mage
Kar played the King.

It's sad I couldn't take more pictures in E1, but I'm sure others have more pictures of E1 than I have.
Jared should have most of the video clips of our drama, while Wai Kwan have more photos of E1.
